High school academic team competition, testing students’ knowledge of Japanese language, art, culture, economy, food, geography, history, politics & government, religion, U.S./Hawaii-Japan ties. Top 2 private school and top 2 public school teams win a cultural immersion trip to Japan sponsored by Hawaiian Airlines.
Need volunteers for: (1) Competition Panels [judge, moderator, timer, score keeper], (2) Registration staff, (3) Activity Center, and (4) College fair
Volunteer orientation on Saturday, January 31, 2026 (mandatory for Competition Panel roles)
Volunteers will receive a JWC T-shirt, breakfast, bento lunch, and acknowledgement in the program
